Denim

Nordstrom has more than 100 LBDs to view on their site. Sort by price, size, designer, bestsellers or what's new. Look for a dress that suits your styles and shape. Popular cuts include sheath,  A-line,  minidress,  pencil skirt,  V-neck,  and sweetheart.  You can also look for vintage  styles for some retro flare! Add a colorful wrap,  some metallic shoes,  or a simple strand of pearls  to finish the look in dozens of ways!

Nautical

Navy and white  always look crisp, clean and perfect. Nautical styles can take your from spring to early fall and always look great on vacations and cruises. According to TKMaxx, the classic palette of navy and white looks best when accented with red.  iVillage gives styling tips to help you pull off the nautical look. MSN identifies Ralph Lauren as the inspiration for this trend, but also suggest H&M and Anthropologie. Items to consider: nautical skirts,  striped tops,  white shorts,  navy sweaters  and sailor dresses.

Equestrian

Tweed blazers,  heathery sweaters,  cashmere turtlenecks  and leather accents. Equestrian looks seem to pop up every fall. The Boston Phoenix thinks this trend works because it's tailored and wearable for many different figures. Popular designers include Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Lands End and Talbots. You can also find items printed with horses  or hounds.  Plaids  and argyle prints  fit right in, although they are leaning more towards a preppy style.
