Warming Drawers
Cold asparagus: my nemesis as a child. My refusal to eat the spindly green slimy things frequently resulted in me staying at the table well after everyone else had gone off to bigger and better things. If only there had been a warming drawer
Warming drawers have a temperature range from about 90 to 250 degrees. The lower settings are excellent for keeping dinners warm and bread proofing. The higher settings produces steaming bowls of soup and sauces. Moisture controls allow you to make sure bread comes out crispy or soft.
For something that will take up a significant amount of space and be in plain view, it is important to buy a unit that has an aesthetic design to fit in with the rest of the kitchen. You may also be interested in an outdoor warming drawer
Extensive research has shown that warming drawers are one of the least-reviewed products available. No major publication has any information about them; no users on Amazon or Epinions have reviewed them. Therefore, beyond a listing of brands there is no way to make a recommendation.
